Going through the motions

Over the past few months that I have been wet shaving, I have found myself wanting to have a shave outside of my normal time. I am a night shaver but sometimes I feel like getting an extra shave in randomly. It's been crossing my mind more often lately. I work from home and in my slow season, I have literal hours each day with nothing to do. Today I decided to finish up a razor box that I had been working on. I'll include some pictures of it. This leads me to my question, is it weird to get an extra shave in? Like without a blade. I don't grow quite that quickly. Just go through the motions to enjoy the process, the smells, the zen-ness of the whole thing.
